Every person has thoughts, dreams, experiences and stories that deserve to be heard.
The Human Spectrum Music & Art Festival 2027: Beyond The Label is an inclusive platform that brings together creators from Malaysia and around the world through art, music, storytelling and other creative forms.
The festival welcomes neurodivergent individuals, persons with disabilities, and neurotypical individuals to share the same creative space. Our aim is to celebrate people of different abilities, backgrounds and ways of experiencing the world, while creating opportunities for everyone to express their ideas, talents and personal stories.
Through this festival, we hope to encourage confidence, understanding and meaningful connection. More importantly, we want the public to look beyond labels and see the person, creativity, individuality and potential in every participant.
Neurodivergent and neurotypical creators, from Malaysia and other countries. You do not need to be a professional artist — beginners, students, emerging and experienced creators are all welcome.
Because the festival is created to increase opportunities for neurodivergent individuals, priority will be given to neurodivergent creators when shaping the final programme. Neurotypical creators remain an important part of the festival — genuine inclusion means creating and participating together.
Painting, drawing, illustration, photography, mixed media, digital art, textile, sculpture.

There is no single correct interpretation. You may choose to explore:
Above all — tell us something meaningful about you and your world.
A participation fee is payable only if your work is selected. Submitting a work does not guarantee selection.
We are interested in the story and person behind the work — not only technical skill.
We ask whether you identify as neurodivergent or neurotypical for selection and programme planning only. This is confidential and not automatically shown publicly.
Participants may receive support with writing, communication, technology, translation or preparing files. Support doesn't make your work less valuable — just tell us what was provided.
AI-assisted creativity is welcome. AI should amplify the human voice, not replace it — tell us what tools you used and how your own ideas shaped the work.
International artists don't need to ship original artwork to Malaysia. If selected, we will reproduce your high-resolution file professionally — your original stays safely with you.
Fees for selected picture books, music, digital works and collaborative projects reflect each category's production needs — confirmed before you accept selection.
We are not simply looking for the most technically perfect artwork or performance.
The curatorial team also weighs neurodivergent representation, diversity of age groups, Malaysian and international participation, and variety of experience. Priority goes to creating meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent creators.
Selling your work is optional. Malaysian artists may set their own price; international artists may separately authorise the festival to sell the locally reproduced exhibition copy.
Subject to any applicable bank, international transfer or payment-processing charges. The same principle applies to authorised reproductions, picture books and approved creative products.
May be displayed, included in storytelling sessions, or offered for sale where appropriate. Unpublished manuscripts are normally Not for Sale unless otherwise agreed.
Your work remains yours. If selected, you grant permission to display and reproduce it for exhibition, publicity, website and documentation — full detail in the Terms & Conditions.

The Human Spectrum Music & Art Festival 2027: Beyond The Label（2027人类光谱音乐与艺术节：超越标签）是一个包容性的创意平台，通过艺术、音乐、故事分享及其他创作形式，汇聚来自马来西亚及世界各地的创作者。
艺术节欢迎神经多样性人士、残障人士，以及神经典型人士共同参与，并在同一个创意空间中分享彼此的声音与作品。我们的目标，是庆祝不同能力、背景及生活体验的人，同时为每一位参与者创造表达想法、展现才华和分享个人故事的机会。
通过这个艺术节，我们希望能够促进自信、理解与人与人之间更有意义的连接。更重要的是，我们希望让大众能够超越标签，看见每一位参与者真实的个人特质、创造力、独特性与潜能。
我们欢迎神经多样性创作者与神经典型创作者，来自马来西亚及国际参与者。你不需要是专业艺术家 — 初学者、学生、新晋创作者与有经验的艺术工作者，我们都欢迎。
由于本艺术节的其中一个主要目标，是为神经多样性人士创造更多参与和展示机会，因此在整体策展与节目安排中，神经多样性创作者将获得优先考虑。同时，我们也非常欢迎神经典型创作者参与，因为真正的包容并不是彼此分开，而是能够一起创作、一起参与、一起被欣赏。

没有单一的标准答案，你可以从以下方向寻找创作灵感：
最重要的是 — 告诉我们，一个属于你和你的世界的故事。
只有作品成功入选后，才需要缴付相关参与费用。提交作品并不代表一定会被选中。
我们关注的是作品背后的故事与创作者本人，而不仅仅是技术水平。
我们询问你是否认同神经多样性或神经典型，仅用于作品遴选及节目规划。相关资料将会保密，不会自动公开展示。
参与者可获得写作、沟通、技术、翻译或整理文件方面的协助。获得协助不会降低作品的价值 — 只需告诉我们提供了哪些协助。
我们欢迎合理运用 AI 进行创作。AI 应该放大人的声音，而不是取代人的声音 — 请说明使用了什么工具，以及你自己的构思如何塑造了作品。
国际艺术家无需把原作寄送到马来西亚。如果作品成功入选，我们会在马来西亚专业复制制作 — 你的原作可继续安全保留在你手中。
入选绘本、音乐、数字作品及合作项目的参与费，将根据各类别的制作与呈现需求而定 — 会在你确认接受入选前清楚告知。
我们并不只是寻找技术上最完美的作品或表演。
策展团队也会综合考虑神经多样性创作者的代表性、不同年龄层、马来西亚与国际参与比例，以及不同创作类别与生活经验。我们将特别重视为神经多样性创作者创造真正而有意义的展示机会。
是否出售作品，完全由创作者自行决定，属于可选项目。马来西亚艺术家可自行设定售价；国际艺术家可另行授权艺术节出售本地复制的展览作品。
如涉及银行手续费、国际汇款费或付款平台手续费，相关费用可能会从创作者所得金额中扣除。同样的分成原则也适用于授权复制作品、绘本及经批准的创意产品。
入选绘本可能会展出、用于故事分享活动，或在适当情况下提供销售。未出版的手稿一般会列为非卖品，除非双方另有安排。
作品版权仍然属于创作者本人。作品一旦入选，创作者将授权艺术节在展览、宣传、网站及活动记录中使用作品 — 完整条款请参阅投稿条款与细则。
